Webinar: Be Prepared for October 1, 2022 Coding Changes

Where: Webinar-Eastern Time
All day event

As of October 1, 2022, ICD-10 coding changes will become effective for patient encounters, including 1,176 new codes, 28 revised codes, and 287 deleted codes. These changes will apply to patient encounters through September 30, 2023, regardless of whether you are billing Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, or a commercial payer. Prepare for all the upcoming changes by attending this webinar to learn about the revisions, deletions, and additions.

To get it right from the beginning, your intake staff must prioritize dementia and the documentation we will need. As part of this program, we will also discuss any clinical grouping or comorbidity changes associated with those codes.

Don't miss this important and timely webinar!

Objectives for active participants:

  • Explain the overall changes that are pertinent to home health.
  • Describe the additional documentation you will need for dementia patients.
  • Discuss any Patient-Driven Groupings Model (PDGM) Grouper and comorbidity category changes before the final rule comes out.

Presented by:
