HCAF Elects SimiTree Leaders J’non Griffin and Kim Wilkerson to Board of Directors 2023-24

[June 12, 2023] The Home Care Association of Florida has recently announced their new Board of Directors for 2023-24, featuring SimiTree Coding and OASIS and Review Choice Demonstration leaders, J'non Griffin, RN, MHA, HCS-D, COS-C, HCS-H, Principal, SVP, Coding, and Kim Wilkerson, LPN, BA, MBA, Review Choice Demonstration Manager. 

"We are delighted to have such strong support from SimiTree on our Board of Directors. We heartily welcome back Kim Wilkerson and are thrilled to have J'non Griffin promoted to an officer role," said Bobby Lolley, RN, Executive Director of HCAF. “Their exceptional leadership and extensive experience in the home care industry make them invaluable assets to our organization. We look forward to their continued service and collaboration to strengthen our organization's mission and positively impact the Florida provider community as a whole." 

Eleven of the 17 offices were up for election, including four officers, six regional directors, and the representative for the Private Duty home care provider community. The newly elected directors will begin their two-year terms on July 1, 2023. J'non Griffin has been elected as Secretary and Kim Wilkerson, elected as Region 11 Director. 

“I am honored to serve as the Secretary on the Board of the Home Care Association of Florida. HCAF is a robust association that truly cares about the providers and advocates on the state and national level for home health agencies,” says Griffin on her appointment. “Again, I am truly honored and humbled to be a part of HCAF.”  

On her appointment, Wilkerson expressed gratitude as well, saying, “I am extremely honored to rejoin the HCAF’s Board of Directors representing Region 11. Home care is at the forefront of the delivery of care process assisting our most vulnerable citizens. HCAF continues to play a vital role in the success of the home care industry by being an advocate at the state and national level, by keeping us aware of impending legislative changes and by assisting all of us to adapt to the changes that are necessary to thrive in an ever-changing landscape. Home care is an industry that has given me so much and I hope to continue to contribute to its future.” 

Every year, HCAF offers nearly 100 education-based programs designed to enhance the skills of our members and inform them about policy developments and best practices. Their annual special events include the HomeCareCon Annual Conference & Trade Show, Florida's largest home care event of the year, and the Home Care Warm Up and Private Care Symposium, full-day educational events for Medicare providers and private pay providers, respectively.
